So, apparently the massive number of water towers is not indigenous to just South Texas as pointed out so kindly by my friend Ryan while in the Dallas area. I never noticed them up here before. I think I may just discount that realization and live in my la-la land and connect multiple water towers in each city to a South Texas memory.
